Givil (not referring to the name or store in Egypt) is not an entity. It is not a product, a device, a living being, a conscious being, or an existence. It simply is. Givil can be most closely related to a thought, feeling, and emotion, but it is not quite any of those. Givil is its own class of item, known as Givil. It's the feeling of being homesick, of confusion, of fear, the realization of what empty space truly looks like, the emotion of panic. It's a welcoming hug from a loved one, the action of being chased by a grizzly bear, but, then again, it's nothing. It's empty. There isn't air in the cup, there isn't a void, it's Givil. But it's present, too. It's Schrodinger's cat, except there is no box. There is no cat. There never was a cat to begin with. The entire question doesn't make sense in the case of Givil. But how do we even know Givil exists if it doesn't? Even giving it a name brings it into existance, right?
At first glance, Givil might seem like an impossible concept, considering how frustrating it is to get. However, 9 people have succesfully managed to grasp it, which insinuates that the brain might be even more powerful than once thought. Ask these people to describe Givil. They will all struggle to find the words to describe Givil, like a blind individual attempting to explain what nothing looks like. But nothingness is a common concept, and we've been able to grasp it, why can't we grasp Givil? What's so different about it?
Givil and nothing have similarities, but are not the same. It's like comparing a queen bed to a twin bed. They both function as a place for rest, both tend to be comfortable, but clearly are different - one is larger than the other. So, while they may be similar, they are absolutely not the same. Givil is the absence of thought, meanwhile the same thought occupies the absence at the same time. As mentioned earlier, you will not understand Givil, unless you are one of the 9 people who have fully comprehended it. But where does Givil even come from?
"Difficult to trace" is like saying the sun is "warm", or saying that rocks are a little soft. It's a complete understatement to even hint at the idea that its place of origin is difficult to trace. The only correct way to describe the traces of its origins are "impossible". But we're trying. KHS is the only organization on inhabited planets dedicated to locating where Givil came from. Discovering its source would be a revolutionary find, but the chances of this happening have been calculated to be 1 in 24x10^502, a number beyond human comprehension.
Whatever you may imagine Givil to be, it's not. But whatever you imagine Givil to be, it is. The entire concept of Givil is filled to the brim with hypocrisies, invalid arguments for its non-existence, it's like claiming "oh, red doesn't exist anymore because I said so!" and, while to the average person, Givil being impossible may be true, it holds one back from being able to even begin the starter set of the starters for understanding Givil. An extremely open mind is required to start the process of getting Givil. This is a description of Givil from one person who claims to understand it.
